This part is a hilly area with high rainfall and is safely sheltering the hilly area between dense forestsA peculiarity of Sakaleshpura Western Ghats is that out of 3000 plant species, 1500 plant species do not grow anywhere else and the oxygen here is very pure and abundant and this place situated in the elevation of 3058 feet above from the sea level. That is why people choose this place to spend holidays. Among the Western Ghats, Coffee, Cardamom, Pepper, Areca nut, Coconut, and Banana and other Spices grown here, There are only two famous Indian cardamom research institutes in the country of India, one is in the state of Kerala and the other one is at Sakaleshpura. And people come from all over to taste this place however most of the people come here from Bangalore, Sakaleshpura is 215 kilometres from Bangalore on nation highway 75 with hassle free and safe road.And to reach Sakaleshpura can choose frequent Public bus transport or Railway which take 4 hours.
About our Homestay, In the middle of coffee and Pepper plantation, we built mud brick cottages with unique and natural resource which opportunity to experience local culture and traditions also can experience Camping/Hiking tents. Especially, the place around them was busy with the sounds of chirping birds and the soft breeze of the wind
